Get ready to lace up your shoes! Online registration is officially open for the 14th Annual Run to the Center of the World 5K, happening on Saturday, October 18 at 10:00 AM (EST). The race starts and finishes at the New Troy Community Center and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
This isn’t just a run — it’s a celebration of community! Bring your strollers and even your four-legged running buddies along as you enjoy a flat, scenic course winding through the beautiful countryside surrounding New Troy. Kids under 12 can race for free, making it a perfect family day out
Winners in both the run and walk will take home gift cards from local businesses for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. But that’s not all — special awards will also be given for: Best Costume Longest Distance Traveled Oldest Racer Youngest Racer
Plus, first-place finishers will have their names and times engraved on bricks in the Community Center’s Memorial Brick Garden — a lasting legacy of your speed!
A free breakfast buffet will be available after the race, and if you register before October 1st, you’ll also snag a free T-shirt.
All proceeds go directly to support the New Troy Community Center, which thrives thanks to memberships, donations, and fundraising events — and uses no tax dollars! The volunteers of Friends of New Troy proudly host this event.
