The School of American Music (SAM) cordially invites you to attend an open house in honor of Donna M. Mitchell upon her retirement as SAM Executive Director at the end of 2024. Donna will continue to be a music instructor for SAM and will continue to be a volunteer member of the SAM Programming and Elementary Music Education Committees.
The open house will be Sunday, January 19, 2025, 3:00-5:00 p.m. EST at the Arts & Education Center, 14 Maple St., Three Oaks, Michigan. Please stop by to wish Donna well in her retirement. There will be food, drinks, and, of course, cake!
Donna was a volunteer Executive Director for the nonprofit School of American Music since 2017, and was the second Executive Director since the school was founded in 2012. Garth Taylor, Founder, Tom Flint, President, and the SAM Board of Directors thank Donna for being a wonderful Executive Director and for being a major force to help build the school into the outstanding musical community resource it is today.
