The Episcopal Church of the Mediator will be celebrating the annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. to honor St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
This event is a tradition where pets and other animals receive blessings from clergy, recognizing their importance in people's lives and God's creation.
This event is open to all regardless of religious affiliation and welcomes a variety of animals, including pets, stuffed animals, or pictures of pets. Please make sure live pets are leashed.
